General Overview
- QuickBooks training, consulting, troubleshooting, plus some bookkeeping duties.
- Onboarding, preparing, and transitioning clients.
- Acting as Primary Project Manager on projects involving multiple Consultants.
- Managing and mentoring consultants on your team.
- Interacting with clients and advising the company regarding CFO / Controller role and duties.
- Works with clients in a post-sale capacity.
Responsibilities
- Managing a team of services consultants, reviewing their work and billable time.
- Support existing clients with QuickBooks training and consultation, including software and process troubleshooting.
- The position also includes bookkeeping and accounting services for the hiring company, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, and monthly closes.
- Managing projects on your own, or communicating any difficulty to your team and team leader.
- Acting as Primary Project Manager on projects involving multiple Consultants.
- Maintain accurate information in client files.
- Make appointments with new clients for training and other on-going services.
- Independently manage the clients and create opportunity.
- Use effective written and verbal communication skills externally with prospective clients, and internally with colleagues and managers.
- Use our online project management system as a key part of the communication of progress and status of pipeline and potential customers.
- Maintain an expected billable-hour percentage of 85%.
- Diligently logging your hours used as timecards in the CRM system.
- Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge
Required
- QuickBooks Enterprise experience 6+ years
- At least one of these certifications: QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification or QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification
- Controller or Management experience
- Intermediate accounting knowledge
- Intermediate project management skills
- Confidence in creating and managing multiple complex projects from beginning to end
- Intermediate PC/computer knowledge
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Energetic, confident, team player, motivated to succeed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a team dynamic without constant supervision
- Managing multiple complex projects
- Excellent customer support skills
- Software implementation experience
- Software data conversion / migration experience
Preferred
- Consulting Firm or CPA firm experience
