QuickBooks Desktop Downloads
If you purchased a QuickBooks Desktop product, you can access to all your downloadable purchases with your Intuit Online Account. Now you can quickly and easily retrieve download instructions, software links, and activation codes.
1. After purchasing your software, a download link and license key will be emailed to you within 1 to 2 business days.
You will receive a download link and license key via email within 1 to 2 business days.
2. Click the download link(s) in the email to begin the file transfer.
Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install your software. Make sure to have your license and product number on hand. NOTE: Some Intuit software titles may require you to login to your Intuit Online Account first, then download from there.
3. Complete the installation process.
Upon download completion, enter your license number and product code. When the installation is complete, open the software using the desktop shortcut.
Frequently Asked Questions / Troubleshooting
I purchased software two hours ago, but haven’t received anything via email. Where is my download?
Per the listing for each downloadable software product we sell, it details the time it takes in which you will receive an email with your license number and download instructions. Some downloadable software takes 1-2 business days to process.
Do you sell QuickBooks in a boxed CD format?
Intuit stopped selling boxed CD’s a few years ago, as the trend in the software industry is moving to purely a digital delivery method. Intuit still provides a “re-install” CD. Please keep in mind, a “re-install” CD is simply a generic disc with a QuickBooks installer (.exe) file on it and does not contain any license information. Also, the download version will many times be the latest version of the software compared to what’s on the CD as there are often updates / patches to the software since the release of the CD.
My QuickBooks software is asking for a validation code. Where do I get one of those?
A validation code for your QuickBooks software can be obtained by logging into your Intuit Online Account or by contacting the appropriate Intuit support department below:

I’m having trouble logging into my Intuit Online Account. What do I do?
Contact Intuit support with your QuickBooks license number and business information (name, address, phone, etc.). They will be able to assist you in getting access to your Intuit Online Account.
How do I download software from my Intuit Online Account?
1 Enter your User ID and Password. (Your User ID will be the email address you used when you purchased your software).
- If you do not know your User ID, go to Forgot User ID
- If you do not know your Password, go to Forgot Password
2 Click Log In.
3 Click Products on the left side of the screen
4 Select your product.
5 Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install.
6 When the installation is complete, open the software using the desktop shortcut.
After logging into my Intuit account, I don’t see any of the products I’ve purchased. What do I do?
Sometimes Intuit licenses do not get properly linked to their associated logins on Intuit’s portal. If this has happened to you, simply contact Intuit support, using one of the Intuit support numbers on this page, with your license number(s), business information (name, address, phone, etc.), and the username of your Intuit account. They will be able to assist you in linking your license(s) to your Intuit account.

Account Management
Access your Fourlane.com account from multiple devices with your secure login. When you first log-in, you will be directed to your account dashboard or My Account. From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage subscriptions, shipping and billing addresses, payment methods, wishlists, and edit your password and account details.
Lost Password
To reset your password, please click here. You will be asked to enter your username or account email address. If you do not receive an email, please check your spam folder first, then contact customer service.
Change Password
To change your password, please visit your account details page. For security reasons, we require passwords to be strong by using a combination of uppercase, lowercase, and special characters (e.g. Xyu#HlhE!837aqB).
Change Email Address
To change your email address, please visit your your account details page and enter your new email address.
Edit Your Name
To edit or change your profile first / last name, please visit your your account details page.
Edit Your Billing or Shipping Address
To edit your addresses on file, please click the Addresses link. On the Addresses page, click edit next to the billing or shipping address you wish to edit.
Does this replace my Intuit Account?
No. Fourlane.com is a different website and service from Intuit. Any QuickBooks products you buy from Fourlane will still be available within your Intuit account.
Billing & Subscriptions

Viewing and Printing Invoices
To ensure the privacy of member information, your billing history is available for review when you’re logged into your account. To view your billing history or print a receipt:
- Sign in to your account
- Go to your account dashboard
- Click on the orders link
- Click the View Invoice button for the order you wish to view
- To print the invoice, click the Print button in the top left corner
Updating Billing Information
To change your billing address, log into your account and click the addresses link. Next, click edit next to your billing address.
Saved Payment Methods
To view, add, or delete your saved payment methods, click the Payment Methods link on your account dashboard.
Intuit Subscriptions
Some Intuit products, such as QuickBooks Enterprise, QuickBooks Online, Intuit Payroll, or Intuit Field Service Management purchased via Fourlane.com will be billed directly by Intuit and will not be visible within your Fourlane.com account. If you need help regarding an Intuit subscription product, please contact Fourlane customer service.
Orders
Order History
To view your order history, click the Orders link on your account dashboard page. On the orders page, click the view button next to the order you wish to view. If you don’t see an order you are looking for, please contact customer service.
Order Status
To track the status of a pending order, please click the Order Status link.
